Day 22 – The Day I Changed My Editorial Calendar

January 23, 2013 · 12 comments

Well, I made it 21 days with daily postings. But…life has managed to get in the way.

So I’m Changing the Editorial Calendar

After using up all of my pre-written posts for this 31 Day Project, it has become increasingly difficult to continue posting every single day. The weekends have been especially killer because I would spend them trying to get ahead again (so I can work during the week).

I realized that I either had to abandon the project or stop posting 7 days a week. So, rather than abandon the project all together, I have decided to change my editorial calendar.

I will still finish out the 31 days (and share the rest of what I had lined up)…but the posts will NOT BE DAILY. Instead, I will just post a few times a week

Just like a SANE person!

This allows me to be thoughtful and thorough on each post and gives you time to absorb the information. I think it is a win-win. Well…it is especially a win for me! Ha!

I still have several more interviews lined up and a few more giveaways! So stick with me!

Thanks for your patience and support.

I applaud your decision, Theresa! This is why I could never participate in the blog version of NaNoWriMo. It’s hard enough for me to put out one blog post per week, let alone on a daily basis. And as a reader of blogs, I actually appreciate thoughtful but less frequent posts because I only have a set amount of time to read blogs (plus, I like to comment too, which takes up more of my time).

Can’t wait for the upcoming posts, but take your time!

I don’t blame you, Theresa. I have spent my whole life striving to write in my personal journal, sometimes going years in between entries, I’m ashamed to say. We’ll enjoy your posts when they come. Love your gardening philosophies BTW.

Thanks Susan. I had only put the pressure on myself. So I figured I full authority to take the pressure away. LOL

And keeping a personal journal is probably best when the mood strikes you. But I think we always feel guilt when we have long gaps. It’s so hard to give our selves permission sometimes.
