So as of today, I have made it half way through the month of doing daily posts. Seriously? What was I thinking?!
Just kidding!
Actually, it’s been great so far. I even had one post go a little viral, which was awesome. (Pssst – Welcome to all the new readers who signed up for the Tomato Seed Giveaway!) We had over 700 comments on that post within the first 48 hours and the contest doesn’t end until Friday. Wow!
This daily blogging has been a little challenging but incredibly fun. I am glad that I can go back to a more manageable schedule on February 1st – mainly because we will be in full production with our PBS TV show by then…and because I could use the sleep!
The Toughest Part
I had figured that putting something on the screen each and every day of January would be tough. I worried that there would be a lack of motivation or even writer’s block. {Gasp!} But that has not been the case at all!
Instead, the hardest part has been stopping myself. I just don’t have time to write long posts every single day – even though I would love to. So my biggest problem is not motivation…it’s just time constraints and I think that is a good thing.
Another giveaway and several author interviews are coming up. So stay tuned for those!
It has been a fun ride so far and I am very much enjoying getting to know you in the comments!
If you missed anything, you can check The Full Summary of all the posts so far.
Thanks so much for joining me on this journey of living local, fresh and homegrown!

Thanks for doing this Theresa!
Thanks Kristy!
I love that photo – cute boots, cute apron/dress, and cute bucket of eggs!
Glad you’re having a great time with posting every day in January; we are enjoying it with you!
Thanks Teresa. My poor boots have a horrible hole in them…but I still love them!
