2012 Northwest Flower & Garden Show Highlight Video

February 12, 2012 · 8 comments

I just returned from the Seattle Flower Show (AKA "The Northwest Flower & Garden Show") and thought you would like to see the behind the scenes footage of the show.

You might remember that we filmed an episode on this flower show for Growing A Greener World TV last year. You can watch that episode HERE. And I also did a similar Living Homegrown® Video for the San Francisco Garden Show last year.

I especially love the interview with Riz Reyes. His passion for the show really shows. We all feel the same way!

Enjoy…

You’ve been super busy! Would love to watch that clip, but I need to get to somewhere with free wifi first. Our satellite internet provider has been putting us on bandwidth probation. Grrrr.

Hope you’re keeping well and happy! It’s almost planting time for us…just one more month.

Hi Teresa!!

Yes, I have been busy. And there are some more exciting things in the works. I’m sorry you couldn’t watch the video yet. Bummer.

I doing good. Sounds like you are gearing up for planting! Fantastic! I can’t wait to see what you grow this year.

Thanks so much for the behind-the-scenes look at everything at the show. I was so sorry to miss this one as I hear it’s even better than the SF Show! But the SF one is closer to home so I’ll definitely be there at least! Hopefully I’ll see you!

I love the idea of the children’s garden, I don’t think I’ve ever seen another garden show with an area designed just for kids. They look like they’re having such a great time jumping around and playing.

I know Debbie! Isn’t it nice? They also have a treasure hunt for the kids so that they are engaged while viewing the display gardens. Each garden has a birdhouse “hidden” somewhere within and the kids have to find them. It is a great way for the parents to walk the display floor to enjoy the gardens without having a cranky child to deal with. The kids love it!

By the way, I just visited your blog and it is beautiful. Your Valentine post “Just say No” is so clever with the little heart candy titles. Well done!

Thanks for visiting my blog today!
