Having A Good “Hair” Day
August 11, 2009 · 5 comments
Charlotte is growing!
You might remember Charlotte from my post here (Meet Charlotte) and here (Charlotte's Video). She is a Golden Laced Polish chicken. I get a lot of questions about how she is doing, so I thought I would post a new photo for you. As you can see, she has quite a "hair-do" now.
She is not big enough to lay eggs yet. (Perhaps in a few more months.)
Can't wait!
And by the way….This is a GOOD hair day!

Way too cute!!
Charlotte says “Thanks” Darla…she likes you too.
T.
If she weren’t named Charlotte already, I think Tina Turner would be a good name for her given her hair style!
She’s so gorgeous. Quick story. I had a lawn mower repair guy out one day and he was admiring my hens, including the buff Polish and silver lace Polish. He turned to me and asked, “Do you cut their hair that way?” I kid you not.
Oh my gosh – that is SO funny! If you had said, “yes” he would have thought you were a complete nut. LOL!
