As most of you know, I am a freelance garden/culinary writer. I write for newspapers, magazines, calendar publishers, etc.
One of the magazines I write for is Herb Companion Magazine. I have been writing for them for about 18 years. I’ve covered everything from cooking, gardening, and crafts, to setting an herbal table and putting together an herbal wedding.
(The wedding article I did many years ago and it was fun. I wrote a huge feature article on incorporating the Victorian Language of Flowers into the wedding ceremony and then I got to fly out to the magazine headquarters to design all the herbal flower arrangements for the photo shoot. The finished article with photos was 10 pages!)
Starting this week, I will be occasionally posting on their magazine blog. You can check out my first post HERE about adding fragrance to the home with Vacuum Bag Sachets.
I will let you know when I do others. Enjoy!

Wonderful! Have you also written for Herb Quarterly (I can’t remember if you’ve told me already)? I sub to HQ, but not HC.
Off to check out your blog post…
Yes, I also write for Herb Quarterly. (Just nothing lately.) And I also write for Natural Home.
I love all three magazines.
Enjoyed your article and can’t wait to try your recipe for vacuum bag sachets!
Thanks Adrienne! Let me know how they turn out for you…

I tried to post a comment there, but I don’t think it ever allowed it through for some reason. Grrr.
I have wanted chickens for several years but have settled on buying eggs from a local hatchery which has lead to a supply of chicken manure for the garden – a perfect solution for the moment!
I found you through Herb Companion, which I love, and will forward a link to your Vacuum Bag Sachets to my herbal friends.
