Summer Squash – YUM!

September 9, 2008 · 2 comments

Here is a bowl of summer squash recently collected from my sister-in-law’s garden in Colorado. This is the BEFORE photo…

I chopped some of them up…

Added some of my own garden fresh veggies (bellpepper, onion and zucchini).
Threw in some fresh basil.
Added a splash of salad oil and balsamic vinegar…

And threw them on the grill. They tasted so sweet!  Like candy.
YUM…is all I can say…YUM, YUM!

Can’t wait to try this! When you “threw them on the grill” did you put them in a pan or basket or what? Thanks!!!
